Kevin Futarine SPECTRUM is the first incarnation of Kevin Futarine to have been produced after FRAloids shut down.
Its development began in July 2021, and the voicebank was released on September 15, 2012.
Its programming as well as its design were carried out by Hibya Tweek. Her final artwork was done by Liilica.
SPECTRUM is the most complete Japanese voicebank of the Kevin Futarin series. It consists of a VCV voicebank with:
- 4 "CORE" neutral pitches (A2 / D3 / G3 / C4)
- 4 light "LIGHT" pitches (L_A2 / L_D3 / L_G3 / L_C4)
- 4 soft pitch "SOFT" (S_A2 / S_D3 / S_G3 / S_ C4)
- 1 deep range extension pitch "DEEP" (G2)
But also two CV-VC extensions:
- 1 falsetto range extension pitch "FALSETTO" (B4)
- 1 pitch of "WHISPER" whispers
This voicebank also contains Vocal Fry, 3 types of vowel end exhalations etc...

SPECTRUM: VAPOR/STEAM
Kevin Futarine VAPOR and STEAM are the 1st alternate designs of Kevin Futarine SPECTRUM. This is Kevin Futarin's first community selected design
In November 2021 a series of polls were published on Twitter to select the theme for a new version of Kevin Futarine.
The choice of themes is done in three rounds. The first two rounds contained 4 new themes, and the two most popular from each round were selected for the last round.

The release of VAPOR and STEAM designs was used to announce the release of SPECTRUM V1.1, Kevin Futarine's first SPECTRUM update patch.
This patch contains the following changes from SPECTRUM V1.0:
- Voicebanks have been re-equalized to reduce bass sound.
- Some oto lines have been corrected.
- VAPOR and STEAM artworks have been added
SPECTRUM FRENCH & HAZE / DAZE
Kevin Futarine HAZE and DAZE are the 2nd alternative designs of Kevin Futarine SPECTRUM. It is also the first voicebank and designs to be released after Kevin Futarine's 10th anniversary.
In January 2022, it was decided to extend and renew the universe of SPECTRUM as well as to give Kevin SPECTRUM an extension either in English or in French.
A poll was held on Twitter, and the "French" option won the votes.
The recording of SPECTRUM French took place in February 2022 and took about fifteen hours.
The 1st demo of SPECTRUM French, made from an incomplete voicebank in pre-alpha, was published on twitter on April 2, 2022. Part of HAZE's design was revealed at the same time.
DAZE was revealed a few months later.
Their designs were made by Hibya Tweek. The final artworks were made by Liilica.
The release of the HAZE and DAZE designs was used to announce the release of SPECTRUM FRENCH, the first French voice set for Kevin Futarine SPECTRUM.
Kevin SPECTRUM FRENCH is the 1st voicebank made using the M2RUg method, a French adaptation of Njokis, made by Text_to_death and Hibya Tweek.
